Announcing: 9th Anniversary Sale & Record Store Day 2016
We turn 9 on April 12th!
We’ll be holding our annual anniversary celebrating sale from April 9th until April 15th. A full week of deals in celebration of all of y’all who keep us going. You’re the best.
20% Off Used Records
15% Off New Records & CDs
$1 LP’s (Anything Marked $3 or less)
We’ll also be adding a few other deals as the sale draws closer. Follow us on our social media platforms for optimal deal knowledge and for all the cool stuff we post about! (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
During the sale the store will be open normal hours: Sunday & Monday 12-6PM, Tuesday – Saturday 12-8PM.
And then on April 16th we’ll be celebrating Record Store Day once again. We’ll be open 8AM-10PM. Food trucks Hardcore Sweet & G-Monkey will once again join us in the parking lot. We’ll have the tent out back which will once again serve as the RSD pop-up store with its own register. The store will be packed full of our excellent wonderful stock and staffed with our wonderful staff as well! Enjoy it all on Record Store Day!
We’ll be receiving over a metric ton of the Record Store Day titles. RSD has released the official list and it’s available here:
That list gets updated daily as things change (occasionally an item gets delayed, deleted or even added on). If you’re wondering if we’re getting something the answer is, “We ordered it,” most likely. As much as we’d like to have every possible thing on hand in quantities exactly matching the demand it just can’t work that way. We order a tremendous amount as do many other stores. We are allocated certain amounts of things and ultimately we get a lot because we put in the leg work. That said, we get less than we order and in some cases we miss out on items completely (trust us, it’s not purposeful by any stretch). We want everyone to be happy in the end so be excellent to each other. We’ll have our list of exactly what we got published the night before RSD (April 15th) so keep an eye out for that.
[Please note the sale ends the day before RSD – like last year. RSD is its own event. Please come during the week ahead of RSD for sale deals.]
Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is also doing a cross promotion with us and Knuckleheads Tap Room so be sure to stop over there before going to Ghost & Tribulation that night at College Street Music Hall in New Haven.
