This Brooklyn indie-rock trio has a style that sounds rooted in 80s college rock and power pop, with robustly energetic, hook-filled guitar tunes on this debut album (they’ve also since released the follow-up High In Place.) The first single “The Light” is a great representation of their lean, feel-good and accessible sound, with its irresistible, glowing guitar hooks (it was produced with the help of Woods member Jarvis Taveniere.)
