RSR PC 070 Ajna of Forest Thrall

Anonymity reigns within the dark realm of black metal. We interviewed an entity known to us here as Ajna. Ajna healms Forest Thrall and plays in Vengeance Sorcery, Cerberus, Sravana, Cemetery Lights and likely more currently active and some that are at this time conceptual acts.

We talk about the Vengeance Sorcery experience of playing Nuclear War Now Fest in Tijuana, Mexico. Ajna goes into depth on the musical paths taken in listening and in playing and gives a short anecdote about how a member of Dokken presented as a sort of missed connection on a tow truck route. We talk about nature and the scourge of the litterer! We veer off on 108 mystic and odd directions and of course we talk about the music we’re listening to!

We just got a slew of framed art in for various bands – for those familiar with our metal selection you might be very excited for this. Here are a couple examples and then check after the jump for the whole selection (and there are still more coming which we will add to the end of this list as we get them).  After the jump, along with pictures there are some extra descriptions and prices.  If the pictures are not good enough for you (and I know some of them don’t show them in the best light/glare/darkness) you should ask us to see them (they are in our basement) and so long as there are two of us here it won’t be a problem (call ahead even).

Of note: These are all very well matted and framed professionally.  These aren’t in cheap frames. They are heavy-weight and many have custom sized frames. These are not some frames we picked up in bulk at the mega-mart and put some promo posters in (however, if you all want that it can be arranged for a cheaper price than these). 

Here they are – alphabetically by band name.  They are followed by their size (in inches), a brief summary of what’s on the poster, any notes (most have none), and our asking price (feel free to contact us with serious offers as well – we’d gladly discount multiple purchases or take a few bucks off for return customers).

Yes, you are reading that correctly. Redscroll Records is not just a store. We also occasionally release music. If you were in attendance at Monday night’s EYEHATEGOD show, you now know that Connecticut’s own IPSISSIMUS has signed to a very important label in the metal realm. We are very proud and fortunate to be releasing a live recording of IPSISSIMUS entitled, “GOATCULTRITES” on REDSCROLL RECORDS (RSR-009). This cassette tape was recorded during a live ritual over one year ago. It is hand-numbered and strictly limited to 100 copies (authenticated with the Redscroll Seal). Hail Satan.
