Welcome to this week’s latest installment of our Redscroll blog post. Just announced at College Street Music Hall, Connecticut Hardcore heavyweights Hatebreed are bringing their 25th anniversary tour on (4/20) featuring Obituary, Terror, Cro-Mags, and Fit For An Autopsy! Tickets will be on sale Friday at 10AM!

At Space Ballroom, we have Wizardfest (12/13), a Harry Potter themed extravaganza; WHY? celebrates 10 years of Alopecia postponed to (1/15); and lead guitarist for Dave Matthews Band Tim Reynolds and his band TR3 on (2/7). Tickets are on sale now for these awesome events.

As a part of our weekly Manic Monday series at Cafe Nine we have Boston rock band White Elephant on (1/7); genre-defying pop collective  Whatever We Are on (1/21); Quebec dream pop duo Ghostly Kisses on (3/11) with Pearl Sugar. Be sure to RSVP to these exciting shows!

This week is filled with great all around artists! Tonight (11/29) we have folk singer/songwriter Peter Mulvey at Space Ballroom. On Friday (11/30) at Space Ballroom is critically-acclaimed bluegrass duo The Gibson Brothers. Monday (12/3) features Bernice at Cafe Nine as part of our continuing Manic Monday series with Bud Collins Trio and Low Ceilings. On Tuesday (12/4) we have the Bayside with Kayleigh Goldsworthy at Space Ballroom. This show is SOLD OUT but be sure to enter our contest for a chance to win tickets to the show. Lastly, on Wednesday (12/5), Craig Ferguson brings his “Hobo Fabulous Tour” to College Street Music Hall. Don’t forget to get your tickets today.

Welcome to this week’s extra long edition of our Redscroll blog post which includes the next two weeks of shows because Thanksgiving is next Thursday and no one wants to work on Thanksgiving.

Just announced at College Street Music Hall, we have Get The Led Out (2/1); Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (3/14), Punch Brothers (3/15) with Gabriel Kahane;  and Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox returns on (5/11). At Space Ballroom; an intimate performance by Lady Lamb (4/10) and Legendary psych rock band Acid Mothers Temple (4/19). Just announced at Wall Street Theater is Classic DEEP PURPLE Performed By Glenn Hughes (4/24). All shows go on sale Friday, 11/16 at 10AM.

We have a packed week of shows starting FRIDAY (11/16) with Dark Star Orchestra recreating the historic 5/5/77 Grateful Dead New Haven show at College Street Music Hall and rising neo-soul/funk band Ripe over at Space Ballroom with Joon. The fun continues on Saturday (11/17) with pop punk band Cute Is What We Aim For with Makeout, Minshara, and Brightside and on Sunday (11/18) Speak Up Storytelling Presents “Mischief”. We are 100% SOLD OUT for Bob Dylan’s performance at the Palace Theater in Waterbury THIS Tuesday (11/20). Back over at Space Ballroom we have CT Grateful Dead tribute mainstays Shakedown on Wednesday (11/21); The Felice Brothers (11/23); Presence CT (11/24); and WHY? (11/25) celebrating the 10th anniversary of their Alopecia! Get your tickets now!

As a part of our weekly emerging artists series Manic Mondays at Cafe Nine, we have singer/songwriter Elizabeth & the Catapult on (11/19) and LEEDS (Royston Langdon of Spacehog) with Bird Streets and McClain Tini. RSVP today!

Welcome to this week’s edition of our Redscroll blog post. Just announced at Space Ballroom, we have Big Ups Farewell Tour (1/11) with Ovlov and Lilith, singer-songwriter Natalie Prass (1/20), and Americana roots collective Dustbowl Revival return on (1/30). On (1/22) investigative journalist and Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward comes to College Street Music Hall.

Update – Houndmouth at College Street Music Hall has been rescheduled to Saturday, (2/16). All tickets purchased for the November date will be honored and tickets are still on sale.

We have a packed week of shows starting TONIGHT with rock guitarist and Frank Zappa’s son, Dweezil Zappa (11/8) at College Street Music Hall and a solo acoustic set by Ty Segall at Space Ballroom with special guest William Tyler! The fun continues Friday (11/9) with Lucinda Williams and her band Buick 6 at College Street Music Hall and Omaha emo-tinged post-hardcore band Cursive at Space Ballroom with Meat Wave and Campdogzz. Be sure to get your tickets ASAP, these shows are selling out fast!

As a part of our weekly emerging artists series Manic Mondays at Cafe Nine, we have electro-pop band The Blow: Energetic Strategies Tour (11/12). Our monthly HaHa Hamden Comedy Series at Space Ballroom continues on (11/12) with Howie Mason as the headliner. Finally, on (11/14), we have folk supergroup I’m With Her featuring Grammy nominated Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, and Aoife O’Donovan at College Street Music Hall.

Welcome to this week’s edition of the Manic / Premier Update! We have quite a few show announcements as well a jam-packed week of awesome shows.

Just announced at College Street Music Hall is Atlanta indie psych rockers Deerhunter on (2/23) and at Wall Street Theater in Norwalk, we have French-Canadian Genesis cover band The Musical Box on (5/31).

This week’s awesome show lineup starts TONIGHT (11/02) with Live Dead & Riders ‘69: Electric Harvest Tour (members of Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna, RatDog) plays Wall Street Theater in Norwalk and Caroline Rose headlines at Space Ballroom with And The Kids. We’ve got two great shows this Saturday (11/03): Elle King with Cordovas at College Street Music Hall and The Dodos with Palehound at Space Ballroom. Tickets to Elle King are selling fast, so get them while you still can! Finishing off the week this Sunday (11/04), Ghost of Paul Revere and Charlie Parr co-headline at Space Ballroom.

This week’s Manic Monday (11/05) at Cafe Nine features Jounce with Marvelous Liars and The Right Offs. It’s free if you RSVP before 2PM on day of show or $5 at the door. Finally on Wednesday (11/7), we have Nashville folk trio The Wood Brothers at College Street Music Hall and A collaboration between Uniform & The Body with Space Camp and Ore Miner at Space Ballroom. Start your month off right with our great shows!

Manic Presents / Premier Concerts Weekly Update 10-27-2018

Welcome to our weekly installment of the Blog! This week holds a brief list of some newly announced shows and our stacked schedule for coming weekend through Halloween and beyond.

Just announced at Space Ballroom is critically acclaimed bluegrass group The Gibson Brothers on (11/30)  and Brooklyn indie post-punk revival band The Hold Steady on (5/18/19). At Wall Street Theater in Norwalk, we have iconic Southern rock group The Marshall Tucker Band on (3/16/19). Tickets for The Gibson Brothers and The Marshall Tucker Band will be on sale tomorrow (10/26) at 10AM and tickets for The Hold Steady will be on sale next Friday (11/2) at 10AM.

This weekend’s show schedule starts TONIGHT, Saturday (10/27) with a damn good lineup of Wavves & Beach Fossils co-headlining at College Street Music Hall and the long awaited reunion of Connecticut locals Beach Avenue at Space Ballroom. Sunday (10/28) hosts the exciting indie rock groups Hippo Campus and The Districts at College Street Music Hall and comedian and “Trouble with Apu” creator Hari Kondabolu at Space Ballroom. Our weekly Manic Monday at Cafe Nine features Kosha Dillz and others on (10/29). On Halloween AKA Wednesday (10/31), we are refraining from fearing the reaper at Wall Street Theater in Norwalk with classic rock icons Blue Oyster Cult! Be sure to check out any of these great shows!
