Welcome to our weekly installment of the Blog! This week holds a brief list of some newly announced shows and our stacked schedule for coming weekend through Halloween and beyond.

Just announced at Space Ballroom is critically acclaimed bluegrass group The Gibson Brothers on (11/30)  and Brooklyn indie post-punk revival band The Hold Steady on (5/18/19). At Wall Street Theater in Norwalk, we have iconic Southern rock group The Marshall Tucker Band on (3/16/19). Tickets for The Gibson Brothers and The Marshall Tucker Band will be on sale tomorrow (10/26) at 10AM and tickets for The Hold Steady will be on sale next Friday (11/2) at 10AM.

This weekend’s show schedule starts TONIGHT, Saturday (10/27) with a damn good lineup of Wavves & Beach Fossils co-headlining at College Street Music Hall and the long awaited reunion of Connecticut locals Beach Avenue at Space Ballroom. Sunday (10/28) hosts the exciting indie rock groups Hippo Campus and The Districts at College Street Music Hall and comedian and “Trouble with Apu” creator Hari Kondabolu at Space Ballroom. Our weekly Manic Monday at Cafe Nine features Kosha Dillz and others on (10/29). On Halloween AKA Wednesday (10/31), we are refraining from fearing the reaper at Wall Street Theater in Norwalk with classic rock icons Blue Oyster Cult! Hello and welcome to another weekly installment of the Manic Presents Redscroll Blog. A fresh blog post means NEW show announcements and the upcoming show schedule for the current week.

Just announced at College Street Music Hall is jam band veterans Umphrey’s McGee on (1/31). At Space Ballroom we’re hosting another monthly installment of HaHa Hamden feat. Howie Mason & more on (11/12); Twiddle’s own Mihali will perform at Space Ballroom on (12/06); Big Freedia, the New Orleans Queen of Bounce, arrives at Space Ballroom on (1/10); Psychedelic indie/garage rocker King Tuff stops by Space Ballroom on his Infinite Smiles Tour (1/21), supporting him will be all female Australian psychedelic rock group Stonefield; and finally, Pennsylvania indie emo singer Petal returns to CT to perform at Space Ballroom (1/26).

This week’s show schedule includes a packed weekend starting on Friday, (10/19) with Southern California reggae/hip-hop group Dirty Heads headlining College Street Music Hall with Jukebox the Ghost and Just Loud. Also on (10/19) Destroyer will be playing a solo set at Space Ballroom with support from Kath Bloom. On Saturday, (10/20) we have the Arlo Guthrie Family Band celebrating 50 years of Alice’s Restaurant at College Street Music Hall and Low Cut Connie back in CT at Space Ballroom (10/20) with Ruby Boots and &More! On Sunday (10/21) Big Data brings their Alt Nation Tour with Castlecomer and Fitness to Space Ballroom and progressive rock indie artist Matthew Perryman Jones stops by Cafe Nine. Our weekly Manic Monday at Cafe Nine features Toby Driver (of Kayo Dot) and others on (10/22). Additionally, indie rock group, The Wombats headline College Street Music Hall with opening support from Barns Courtney and Layton on (10/23), and Aqueous at Space Ballroom (10/24) with Mungion! We have some huge show announcements for you on this week’s blog! Just announced at College Street Music Hall, alternative rock group WALK THE MOON on (2/2).

At Space Ballroom we have the last minute additions of blues and roots group The California Honeydrops on Tuesday (10/17) and Grateful Dead cover band Gratefully Yours on (10/26)! Additionally, Boston seven-piece indie group, Ripe will play Space Ballroom on (11/16). Finally Reggie and the Full Effect (feat. James Dewees of The Get Up Kids) plays a special solo show on (12/20) with special guest Andy Jackson of Hot Rod Circuit.

We have a busy week full of shows starting TONIGHT (10/11) with Mikaela Davis headlining Space Ballroom with Lyon Street Fire following up her opening slot for Lake Street Dive this past Spring. Other shows we have this week are Suicide Girls: Blackheart Burlesque on (10/12) at College Street Music Hall, Titus Andronicus with Summer Cannibals at Space Ballroom (10/12), New Jersey rock band emo throwbacks The Early November and The Dangerous Summer co-headline show at Space Ballroom (10/14) with Jetty Bones and Save Face, and TTNG comes to Space Ballroom (10/13) with Prince Daddy & The Hyena and The Kraken Quartet!

Hello reader! Welcome to this week’s edition of our Redscroll blog post. We have a bunch of exciting show announcements this week! Just announced at Space Ballroom we have local Grateful Dead Tribute group Shakedown (11/21) and Ontario indie rockers, Tokyo Police Club (3/9/19). As a part of our weekly emerging artists series Manic Mondays at Cafe Nine, we have Brooklyn-based project, Elizabeth and the Catapult (11/19) who recently opened for Sister Hazel.

We have a packed Indigenous Peoples Day weekend starting tonight with electro-funk duo Chromeo (10/4) at College Street Music Hall and indie/shoegaze group Swirlies at Space Ballroom. The weekend fun continues Friday (10/5) with Start Making Sense: Talking Heads Tribute; Saturday (10/6) Dressy Bessy w/ local rock group The Foresters; and Sunday (10/7) Todd Rogers Benefit featuring The Pist, Spring Heeled Jack, and more!! Monday (10/8) holds a triple header of shows including Ray LaMontagne at College Street Music Hall (tickets going fast), Ha Ha Hamden Comedy Night at Space Ballroom (Front Room) and A Hawk and A Hacksaw (ft. Jeremy Barnes of Neutral Milk Hotel) w/ Elison Jackson at Cafe Nine as a part of a weekly Manic Mondays music series.

Welcome to this week’s edition of our Redscroll blog post! We’ve announced a bunch of great shows coming to Space Ballroom including Speak Up Storytelling presents “Mischief” (11/18); Peter Mulvey with Matt The Electrician (11/29); Priests with Empath (12/7). Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday (9/28) at 10AM!

Start the weekend early TONIGHT (9/27) at Wall Street Theater in Norwalk with 90s alternative rock band Sister Hazel, best known as a one hit wonder with “All For You”, with special guest Elizabeth & the Catapult! This is our first show at the venue and we are excited to see you all there! Expect a lot more great shows coming to Fairfield County.

Continuing on, we have a full schedule of shows coming to Space Ballroom starting TOMORROW (9/28) with The Shacks and local indie rockers Mandala; Bully with Pet Fox (Ovlov, Palehound) on Saturday (9/29); and Sunday (9/30) with George Porter Jr. (of The Meters) with his band The Runnin’ Pardners.
