RSR PC 078 Little Lost Records (Abbie, Conor & Randy)

On this episode we talk to the purveyors of Little Lost Records in Stafford Springs, CT.  Musical folks looking to spread their love of music in the North East corner of CT opened their store just about a year ago. Conor and Abbie discuss meeting through their connection to Paul Winter! Through that connection they opened this new store. Randy (previously on our podcast in 2017 as a member of the band Cable) visited their shop opening day and quickly became a regular and soon partner! Listen to all the details on this episode!

We talk about the music we’re listening to. We talk about the music they make outside of the shop. We talk about the music that happens in their shop! We talk about the music made by another shopkeep, Ian of Records the Good Kind (check out his episode on the podcast here and his musical project, The Aspersions here and his previous group Musical Chairs here). We talk about the town of Stafford Springs and what they’d like to see move in to their town. We go off in a few directions. Take a listen!

The Redscroll Podcast is a monthly show (first of the month going forward) that works as a companion to what we do at Redscroll Records in Wallingford, CT USA. We are a record store that has a heavy emphasis on the left of center / underground music of the world. Whether it be underappreciated or just has a niche audience, marginalized or just off the radar it’s all of interest to us. With the show we’ll generally have a localized focus. We’ll discuss upcoming releases and what is in our personal rotation at the moment. We’ll talk about upcoming area musical activities. We’ll talk to guests who have to do with all of the above. And we’ll talk about specific dealings with the store. If you have input you’re welcome to contact us through email (redscroll@gmail.com).
