8th Annual Blackout At Sunrise Sale

It’s that time of year again where Black Friday approaches and our annual Blackout At Sunrise Sale commences. Our 8th annual! A three day sale that starts at 6AM on Black Friday (November 28th) and ends on Sunday (November 30th) at 6PM.

On Black Friday we will have the special Record Store Day endorsed releases (and some non-endorsed specialties). Record Store Day has asked all participating stores not to sell any of those releases before 8AM and so as not to breach our contract with them we will be abiding by that. A separate line will form for those releases and will start filing in at 8AM. The 2 lines will be as follows: RSD Black Friday Line to the left side of the tent (facing our back door) and regular 6AM shopping to the right of the tent (facing the back door). It might sound confusing, but we’ll keep a tight ship and it will make total sense. Those wishing to shop our general stock should come in at any point starting at 6AM, but once you leave the line for the Record Store Day titles you must go to the end of the line (no “holding spots” in other words). As always, we refer to the wise words of Wyld Stallyns: Be excellent to each other. (Party on!)

We’ve come up with a special gift for anybody who spends over $100 this year too! In years past we’ve generally given out T-Shirts and we still have some select sizes of our 2007 design so that might be an option for some this year too, but we’ve come up with an exciting fun useful gift for y’all (our customers). Fun surprise!

On Black Friday, the tent will be set up in the back and we’ll be using that as our entrance for the day (as we do on special event days). We’ll also have some drinks and snacks (while they last – we tend to get a lot).
