Fort Romeau
Insides
Fort Romeau Insides(Ghostly International)
London native Mike Greene’s brand of house music is described as “slow listening,” with the textured layers gradually building into a refreshingly kinetic sound. Drawing from influences such as early electronic music and disco, the music on record is uncluttered and to-the-point, with the pulsing beats and slick synth (as well as a few vocal samples) coming together to create something elegant and atmospheric, such as the breezy rainforest-like vibe of “Folle.”
