Drakkar Nowhere Drakkar Nowhere
(Beyond Beyond is Beyond)
This psychedelic/soul/progressive-rock project primarily consists of core members Daniel Collás (Phenomenal Handclap Band) and Morgan Phalen (Favored Nations, Diamond Nights) with Moussa Fadera on drums. Drakkar Nowhere’s sound is unmistakably influenced by early psychedelic rock, showing off rich vocal melodies and gorgeous arrangements including lean and groovy bass, resonant piano, classic-sounding synth and more. The album was originally conceived in a rented house in Stockholm, where numerous local musicians joined in to help bring the wide-open “cosmic” sound into fruition (they appear on the record as guests.)
