Fatal Sacrament and Inexorable Flesh are 2 bands that are friendly with each other though the music comes off as mean as it comes – straight ahead death metal done well! We talked to Chad of Fatal Sacrament and Jacob and Kurt of Inexorable Flesh.

This month we’re joined by Ryan and James of DOOM BEACH! From a band they named when they themselves thought very little of the band and its place in their lives to a band they’ve made a big part of their lives and now take some pride in crafting the sound of we talk about that journey and the process of the band and how that evolved. We talk about music we’re all listening to. We have a good time. Tales of Lightning Bolt and tour stops. Just four folks jawin’ away about music really.

Oh, and let’s not forget all the talk of the B-52’s – the very real inspiration for this beach themed duo!

RSR PC 053 Jeff of FiFac

Jeff joins us on the podcast this month to talk primarily about his project, FiFac. Electronic music production with a wide genre base beyond bass and improvisation. We talk about the FiFac internet presence (and the odd Twitter relationship / rivalry with CT Verses! It’s almost entirely positive – spoiler!). The release show on April 8th at Never Ending Books vol. 2 in New Haven is discussed (info can be found on Jeff’s Instagram page here).  Bands named after other musicians and celebrities?
