T-USED-DAY Update for December 3rd, 2019 (+ Sale Extension Note)

T-USED-DAY Update for December 3rd, 2019
at Redscroll Records

In case you missed it on our social media posts – since the weather was terrible for the end of the weekend we’ve extended our Holiday Sale through Thursday!
15% Off New Merchandise (all of it)
25% Off Used Merchandise over $10
50% Off Used Merchandise $10 and under
Used CDs in the shop = $1

We’ve already gotten more stock in too! Sale counts on all of it / everything in the store!
Parking lot has been cleared and if you’re off school or playing hookie from work now’s a perfect time to take advantage of it!
3 more sale days!

AND and and… We dug some stuff out of our basement and even marked down some stuff from in our racks to create a $2 Underground Section! (Half-Off until Thursday too!) If you’ve got a hankering for some cheap punk, hardcore, indie rock and whatever else we normally have in our underground section then look no further!

Here are some of the latest used arrivals at the shop. Keep in mind this doesn’t include any of the CDs or many of the LPs in the general rock/pop/jazz/anything-in-the-back-room that we get in. This list also builds over the course of a week so sometimes some items are no longer in stock by the time this is posted. We try to avoid that, but it happens. Call ahead if there’s a particular release you’re curious about. These are the in-store prices – if you’d like to find any of these online please visit us here: http://www.discogs.com/seller/Redscroll

RSR PC 028 Intercourse (Tarek and Caleb)

This month we talked to Tarek (aka Rick) and Caleb from Intercourse – self-described jocular noisy AmRep loving band. Beyond that, Tarek and his brother took a love for a similar described band from Florida called Load to possibly the highest level – beyond styling the band after them, Tarek and his brother made a documentary about Load. We talk briskly about that. (Link to documentary YouTube page in song details below.)

Tarek (aka Rick) [Left] & Caleb [Right]
We talk about 4 day tours. We talk about bodily fluids… yep, if that kind of thing makes you queasy let it be know that towards the end there is a robotic voice that will warn you it is coming up (yikes, PUNishing). Oh yeah, and general music talk as it goes.
