There is a better than good chance you have not heard of Avant! Records or its offerings. Well, let’s correct that. Avant! is a fine small label out of Italy up to its eighth release (more on that to follow). Music on the label tends to be dark and fuzzy (sometimes garage-like and sometimes folkish). If you were in attendance at Monday night’s EYEHATEGOD show, you now know that Connecticut’s own IPSISSIMUS has signed to a very important label in the metal realm. We are very proud and fortunate to be releasing a live recording of IPSISSIMUS entitled, “GOATCULTRITES” on REDSCROLL RECORDS (RSR-009). This cassette tape was recorded during a live ritual over one year ago. It is hand-numbered and strictly limited to 100 copies (authenticated with the Redscroll Seal). Hail Satan.
